Use Album to view images and videos in your device. Album offers a host of features that let you rotate images, view your images as a slideshow, use images as contact pictures, and more.
Note: Album can only display files in the BMP, GIF, PNG, JPG, Animation GIF, 3GP, MP4, and WMV formats.

To open Album, do one of the following:
Tip: If you have several images in your device, scroll down by sliding your finger upward. Scroll up by sliding your finger downward.
To close Album:
Close Album by going back to the main Album screen and tapping .
Note: When you open Album from the Camera program, tapping
takes you back to the Camera program.
View photos in full-screen view
Setting an album as a Favorite lets you view the media files inside the folder on the Photos and Videos tab on the Home screen.
Note: By default, the Camera Shots album is set as the Favorite album.
To set a Favorite Album:

Photos and videos that are stored in both the device memory and storage card will be displayed as thumbnails on the Album screen.
Note: Video files are marked with an icon ().
In thumbnail view, you can do the following:
Tap Menu to access more options:
Menu Item | Description |
Slideshow | Displays the photos in a slideshow. |
Set Album as Favorite | When the selected Album is set as the favorite, the Album photos will be displayed in the Photos and Videos tab. |
Delete Items | Erase the photo or photos from the memory or storage card. |
Send | Select a messaging account (MMS or e-mail) and send the photo with your message. If no e-mail account has been set up, MMS opens with the photo automatically attached. |
Save to Contact | Assign the photo to a contact. |
Properties | View details about the photo, such as the date, time the photo was last modified, file size, etc. |
Options | Set slideshow options. |
Help | View help information about Album. |
View photos in full-screen view
Tap or touch a photo thumbnail to view it in full screen. Tapping
after you have taken a photo with the Camera also displays the photo in full
screen.
In full-screen view, you can do the following:

While viewing images, you can automatically rotate the image by simply turning your device sideways.

While viewing a photo in full screen, you can zoom in and out of the photo by making a full circle motion on the screen with your finger, as illustrated below:
When you are zoomed in:

View photos in full-screen view
On the main Album screen, tap the thumbnail of the video file you want to play back. A progress bar is displayed showing the current time and the total duration.
Note: Video files are marked with an icon ().
Tap the screen to show the playback controls.
