Browse a web page

1. Tap > Internet Explorer.
2. If the browser opens up in reading mode, tap the restore icon in the lower right of the screen. Otherwise, go to step 3.
3. In the address field at the top of the screen, enter a web address, and then tap the go icon .

Interact with Internet Explorer Mobile

Internet Explorer Mobile has two viewing modes:

1. Reading mode: This is a maximized view of the web page with the address bar and the menu bar hidden from view.
2. Overview mode: This is the default view of the web page that displays the address bar (top) and the menu bar (bottom).

Toggle between views:

1. Tap the screen to change to reading mode.
2. Tap the restore icon in the lower right to return to overview mode.

Change zoom levels:

1. Tap the magnifying glass icon then move the zoom bar up or down to increase or decrease the zoom level.
2. Tap away from the zoom bar to hide it.

You can also use touch gestures to move around the web page.

Access your Favorites from the Today screen

You can add your favorite bookmarked web sites to the Favorites plug-in on the Today screen, and directly access those sites in Internet Explorer Mobile from the plug-in later on.

Note

You must have Internet Explorer Mobile 6 on your phone, and the Titanium home screen must be enabled.

Add or remove a favorite to or from the Favorites plug-in

1. Select Favorites on the Today screen.
2. Scroll to the left or right to find the Add/Remove panel.
3. Tap Add / Remove, or , or Change.
4. Select the item from your list of Internet Explorer Mobile favorites, and then tap Select or Unselect to add the favorite to the plug-in on your Today screen.
5. Tap Done.

Note

This action adds or removes the item from the Favorites plug-in on the Today screen and not from your main Favorites list in Internet Explorer Mobile.

Open a Favorite web site from the Today screen

1. Highlight the Favorites menu on the Today screen.
2. Use the directional pad (D-pad), your finger to scroll left or right on the screen, or tap the right arrow to scroll through the Favorites plug-in.
3. Tap anywhere in the panel to open Internet Explorer Mobile and go to the web site.
