You can record voice tags so that you can dial a phone number or launch programs simply by speaking a word.

Index

1. On the Home screen, press the Start Menu and select Contacts. There are three ways to create a voice tag.
   
   
   • Select and long press the contact person to add a voice tag.
   • Select the contact person and then press the Menu to select Add Voice Tag.
   • Press the contact person and then select the phone number. In the right side, press the Menu to select Add Voice Tag.
     
     
2. User also can press [Start] Menu > [Settings] > [Voice Speed Dial] and go to the [Contacts] page.
3. Please select one contact and then press the button to create a voice tag.
4. If the contact person has multiple phone numbers, please select one to create a voice tag.
5. Tap "Record" button.
6. After beep sound and start to record your voice.
7. System will now build the recorded voice tag.
8. When prompted, the voice tag was successfully trained, a voice tag icon will be displayed on the right of the item.
9. User can rebuild the voice tag by tapping the "Record" button again.
10. To delete the voice tag, select the item and tap the "Delete" button, system will remove this item's voice tag.

Note: To improve your accuracy, please record your voice in a quiet place.

Index

1. On the Home screen, press the [Start] Menu > [Settings] > [Voice Speed Dial].
2. Please go to the [SIM] page, this setting page will display all contact person on your SIM card.


Note: If the entry has a voice tag icon on the right side, it means user has built a voice tag for this item.


3. Example: To create a voice tag for "Brother"
4. Launch [Voice Speed Dial], tap [SIM] setting page.
5. Move to "Brother".
6. Tap "Record" button.
7. After beep sound, say "Andy".
8. System will now build the recorded voice tag.
9. After the voice tag is successfully built, a voice tag icon will be displayed on the right of the item.
10. User can launch [Voice Speed Dial], after beep sound then say "Andy" directly to call  "Brother".
11. User can rebuild the voice tag by tapping the "Record" button again.
12. To delete the voice tag, select the item and tap the "Delete" button, system will remove this item's voice tag.

Index

2. Please go to the [Application] page, this setting page will display all installed applications on the Pocket PC's [Start] Menu and [Programs] folder.


Note: If the entry has a voice tag icon on the right side, it means user has built a voice tag for this item.


3. Example: To create a voice tag for "Internet Explorer".
4. Launch [Voice Speed Dial], tap [Application] setting page.
5. Move to "Internet Explorer".
6. Tap "Record" button.
7. After beep sound, say "IE".
8. System will now build the recorded voice tag.
9. After the voice tag is successfully built, a voice tag icon will be displayed on the right of the item.
10. User can launch [Voice Speed Dial], after beep sound then say "IE" directly to launch "Internet Explorer".
11. User can rebuild the voice tag by tapping the "Record" button again.
12. To delete the voice tag, select the item and tap the "Delete" button, system will remove this item's voice tag.

Index

1. Press the hot key or tap [Start] > [Programs] > [Voice Speed Dial].
2. After "Beep" sound, say the word that you have assigned to the phone number or programs you want to call. The Pocket PC will play back the recorded voice tag and then dial out or launch programs automatically.


Note: If there is no any voice tag, system will "Beep" twice and then popup a warning message to remind user to create a vice tag first.


3. If system fail to recognize the voice, it will "Beep" twice and popup a warning message. Please speak clearly and reduce the surrounding noise if possible and try again.

Index

BlueTooth handsfree event can use voice  tag to make call or launch programs.

Index

1. Tap [Start] > [Settings] > [Voice Speed Dial] > [Voice Tag].
2. System will list all created voice tag here.
3. Please move to the item.
4. User can tap these buttons as below:



• Play: System will play the created voice tag.
• Record: User can re-record the voice tag again.
• Delete: System will remove this item's voice tag.

Index

Example 1 : (To export voice tags you have created.)

1. Tap [Start] > [Settings] > [Voice Speed Dial] > [Voice Tag].
2. Tap "Export" button.
3. Please input "Name" and select "Folder" and "Location".
4. Tap "Save" to export voice tags you have created.

Example 2 : (To import voice tags you have saved.)

1. Tap [Start] > [Settings] > [Voice Speed Dial] > [Voice Tag].
2. Tap "Import" button.
3. Tap the voice tag file to import voice tags you have saved.
