BibleReader™ for Pocket PC
About This Product
The BibleReader™ is the
application that "reads" the text. You must install both the
BibleReader and a Bible text database. If you do not already have text,
please go to http://www.olivetree.com and click on Bibles.

Reading a Bible
Choosing a Book
When you start the BibleReader for the first
time you have to load a Bible by going to View/Bibles and Ref. Select the Bible
version, commentary, or dictionary file that you want to load and tap “OK.”
If you open Bibles and Ref and you do not see
any or all of the files you have loaded, tap the “Advanced” button and enable
the Specify Path feature. Then type in
the Exact path to the Bible folder (For Example: Storage Card\My Documents\Bible, this is case
sensitive); all the text files should be loaded into the same Bible folder.
When you turn on your PocketPC
and start the Bible Reader, it automatically loads the Bible version you were
reading last and sets the display to the same page where you left off. If you
deleted the last Bible version you read before turning off your PocketPC, the next version in the recently read menu is
loaded when you turn it back on.
To choose a different Bible version, tap the
View menu and go to Bibles and Ref.

brings up the dialog box, which includes a text entry field and a list
box. To use the dialog, enter characters in the text entry field. As you

field. Keep entering characters until the desired entry is visible in the list.
Then, tap on that entry to select it, and then tap the "Go" button.
If you have used the Dictionary Input dialog to go to an entry, then the full
text of the previously selected entry will automatically appear in the text
entry field the next time you access the dialog. To make another selection,
clear out the text entry field and enter new characters.
