Navigation Buttons

The navigation buttons can be used to control playback of AudiblePlayer. During playback the “Right” and “Left” buttons control “Fast forward” and “Rewind”. The “Up” and “Down” can be used for volume control. The “Center” button is used for “Stop” and “Play”. When not in playback mode, the “Right” and “Left” button can be used to select the next section or the previous section. The “Up” and “Down” buttons can be used to select the next program or the previous program.

Sections

Some audio programs are broken into "Sections." Sections are similar in concept to chapters in a book. Sometimes, audio programs are divided into Sections by individual story or feature providing for convenient navigation between Sections. You will know if the current audio program has sections if there is an encircled "S" displayed on the left-hand side of the elapsed time window. No "S" means that there are no Sections in the program being displayed. To navigate through the sections in an audio program, you may either tap on the "Previous Section" or "Next Section" buttons or use the selections on the "Controls" menu.

Volume Control

During playback you can control the volume by pressing the “Up” or “Down” hardware buttons or selecting “Control” then “Preferences”.

Storage Cards

For long audio programs, you can place audio on a storage card using AudibleManager. The AudiblePlayer will present a consolidated list of your Audio programs - whether it is stored on Main Memory or the Storage Card.
