Creating and Editing a Message

To create a new message:

  1. Tap "New" on the menu. A blank message template will appear. (If you are instead taken to a screen with pre-made templates, you can choose one to use as opposed to a blank template.)
  2. To add a photo or video clip, tap in the designated area:
    1. Tap where indicated to select your photo or video.
    2. The next screen will display your available files. Use the pull-down in the top-left corner to change the folder location.
    3. Tap on the photo or video that you want, and tap on the "Select" button on the bottom left corner of the screen.
  3. Tap within the text box to edit the text message*.
  4. Tap where indicated to select an audio clip for inclusion in the message. After you select the file you want*, tap on the "Select" button on the bottom left corner of the screen. Note: you can only add an audio clip to a slide if it contains a photo. You cannot add audio if you use a video clip.

* In addition to choosing one of the available photos, videos, or audio files, you may be able to record new audio. You can also include pre-saved "My Text" text instead of typing a new message:

You are not only limited to creating one slide. Your message can consist of multiple slides which can be edited and rearranged at any time:


Sending a Message

You can send your message by tapping on the "Send" button located in the bottom left corner of the screen.

You may send messages to mobile phones, email addresses, or both. You may also type in a subject. As your message is being sent, it will appear in the Outbox. When sending is complete, the message will move to the Sent folder (if there is a problem, it will remain in the Outbox).

Retrieve Messages Immediately: Typically, you receive a notification whenever a new message is available. Checking this box downloads new messages automatically. If the "Confirm to retrieve messages while roaming" box is checked, you will be able to receive messages while roaming out of your home network.

Save Sent Messages: Check this option to save a copy of messages that you send.


Reject all Messages: Check this option to block all incoming messages.


Allow delivery report: Check this option to allow a delivery report to be sent to the original message sender.


Allow read report: Check this option to allow a read report to be sent to the original message sender.

 

Show message information: Check this option to have various information displayed after playing back a message.

 

Attempts Before Giving Up: This value sets the number of times the program will attempt to send your message before stopping.


Photo Resolution: Choose the resolution for images that you send. You may want to decrease below the original resolution to help the send/receive time.


The "Servers" tab lists your available servers.
The "About" tab lists various program information.
